What does Someturva’s response include?

When you report a bullying or harassment incident to us, our experts will review it and provide you with a response within 0-3 business days. Our response provides effective tools to resolve the situation. We always ask you what kind of help you need in your particular situation and take it into account in our response. Depending on the situation and your needs, the response may include:

Legal advice: Has a crime or something else illegal happened? What is the crime? Is the offender liable to pay financial compensation for the unpleasant consequences?
Psychological support: Mental support and psychosocial first aid to deal with the situation.
Recommendation for action: Concrete instructions on how to deal with the situation, for example how to remove content from the internet. If necessary, we can advise you on how to file a police report.
Instructions for social media: How can you protect yourself on social media?

We want to help and support you to resolve the situation. You don’t have to follow our recommendations if you don’t want to. When you tell us about your situation, it is up to you to decide what you will do with our response. You don’t have to follow our legal assessment or our recommendations for what to do.
